A Quiet of Morning Tears (revised)

This is an experimental poem. There is but slight punctuation and the rhythm is much dependent upon the reader.
The silent dew of passion’s death erupts
It falls upon the face of broken love
Splintering hope in shards

Of shattered disconsolate dreams

As light refracted in tears falls upon the verge

Of a new day bereft, filled with cold

A gift of solitude’s promise
